Gujiya is traditionally made in Northern India during the festival of colors, Holi. It is a half-moon shaped sweet. The sweet dish is a all purpose flour dumpling with a stuffing of sweetened khoa(evaporated milk), coconut and dried fruits. The dumplings are then fried in ghee and dipped in jaggery syrup.
